General aviation from aircraft to cockpit systems
AERO takes place at Messe Friedrichshafen from 14 to 17 April 2027. Its scope spans general aviation, business aviation and air sports. Aircraft and propulsion systems sit alongside maintenance, training and cockpit technology. Avionics Avenue covers flight control, radar, navigation and communications. The 2027 programme also includes maintenance workshops and a summit on hydrogen and batteries.
Who meets at AERO and what do they compare?
Aircraft and equipment manufacturers, service providers and training organisations meet pilots and equipment buyers. At Avionics Avenue they can compare cockpit functions and ask how displays and radios would fit an existing panel. The show’s specialist conferences give operators, manufacturers and developers room to discuss new applications and practical requirements.
Make the cockpit workflow visible
Put a cockpit mock-up at the aisle so pilots can work through a short display or radio sequence while others watch. Provide lit samples and a separate table to discuss panel dimensions, interfaces and retrofit constraints. The fictional ALTIORA AVIONICS stand uses an open cockpit, an angled module counter and a small meeting area.

ALTIORA AVIONICS is a fictional exhibitor. Its 64 m² stand connects cockpit demonstrations with a module counter and space for retrofit discussions. X24seven designs and builds stands for aviation exhibitors.
