Plant technology for steel and non-ferrous metals
METEC takes place from 21 to 25 June 2027 at the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds. It covers casting and forming equipment for steel and non-ferrous metals, rolling mill equipment, process control, measurement and digital production. The shared ecoMetals 2027 initiative addresses efficient production, energy and emissions management, and the circular use of metals.
Who comes to discuss measurement on a rolling line
The organiser lists steel and metal producers, equipment suppliers and plant engineering among the target groups. Its survey at the previous METEC included plant management, production and quality control, development, procurement and maintenance. These teams come to compare technology and suppliers. For strip gauging, they can discuss where to measure, how to access equipment and how readings reach the existing process control system.
Show the strip line at ground level and discuss integration upstairs
The stand needs clear views of the guarded roller bed and gauge portal. A separate sample bench gives visitors access to the steel strip, and a quieter area gives teams room to discuss interfaces, installation and service. The fictional RHELVANT MILL GAUGING concept uses a 204 m² footprint for demonstrations and a working stair to a meeting deck. X24seven can design the double-deck stand and coordinate construction with the machinery team.
