Automation from sensor signals to moving axes
SPS – Smart Production Solutions is a trade fair for smart and digital industrial automation in Nuremberg. Its product spectrum includes control technology, electric drives, human-machine interfaces, industrial communication, manufacturing software, electrical infrastructure and sensor systems. The organiser lists 23–25 November 2027 for the next-year edition. Current exhibition topics connect components with integrated systems, including networked sensors, edge computing and industrial AI; the detailed 2027 programme is not yet presented here.
Engineers, production teams and management compare solutions
SPS attracts visitors from plant engineering, machine tools, automotive production, industrial IT, packaging machinery and handling technology, among other applications. The organiser identifies design engineering, company management and production as key functions. Visitors bring specific automation problems and compare manufacturers' answers through detailed stand discussions. Exhibitors therefore need to explain interfaces, control behaviour and the application of a component, then make space to discuss how a solution fits an existing machine or production process.
A visible motion sequence followed by a technical conversation
Our design response puts a guarded linear-axis demonstrator beside labelled sensor and drive samples. Visitors can follow a sensor-to-control-to-drive signal graphic before discussing a particular motion task. A separate two-seat table keeps longer technical conversations clear of the demonstration route. AXENORA MOTION is a fictional automation supplier: its 90m² peninsula concept combines cobalt panels, aluminium fins and lime accents. X24seven can develop the stand design and coordinate construction, setup and dismantling.

AXENORA MOTION is a fictional exhibitor. Its 90m² concept pairs a guarded motion demonstrator with sensor and drive samples, a reception and two-seat technical meeting table. This is a visualization of a design concept, not a completed client project.
